  4. Get 5 piece pepper corns & cloves
  5. Prepare 1 cinnamon stick
  6. Take 3 tbsp oil
  7. Make ready 1 piece ground ginger & garlic
  8. Prepare 4 super long green chillies (slit through the center)
  9. Prepare 1 tsp tumeric powder
  10. Take 1 medium onion, chopped
  11. Prepare 1 or 2 dried red chilli
  12. Prepare 1/2 cup boiled peas

Chicken Keema : In a deep heavy bottom pan, heat oil. Once warm add onions and green chilies and saute until onion is softened. Cook on medium low heat until chicken is cooked through. Now add all the spices and tomatoes and stir.

Steps to make Chicken kheema (mince chicken):
  1. Add the oil to a pot and allow to head. Add pepper corns, cloves, cinnamon stick, cummin seeds and dried red chilli. As soon as they start to sizzle, add the onions and put the heat on low. Let the onions becaome almost golden
  2. Add garlic and ginger and stir so that it doesnt stick. Wait for the onions to become a good golden color then add tomatoes.
  3. Stir the tomatoes for 1 minute. Add tumeric, salt and the green chillies. Stir until a paste is formed. Now add the chicken and and the peas together. increase the speed. The meat will cook within 5mins but releases a lot of water

Cook on medium low heat until chicken is cooked through. Now add all the spices and tomatoes and stir. Chicken 'Kheema' Chicken 'Kheema' (or Ground/ Minced Chicken Curry) is a flavorful, nutritious & aromatic chicken dish, easy to make and store. Replace Ground/ Minced Chicken with Ground Turkey, Lamb or other red meat.
