Hey everyone, hope you’re having an amazing day today. Today, I will show you a way to prepare a special dish, leche flan. One of my favorites. For mine, I will make it a bit tasty. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Leche flan can be cooked in one large shallow bowl and cut into squares or wedges to serve. Alternatively, it can be cooked in smaller single-serve ramekins. Leche flan is perfect by itself, but it can be served in many other ways. It is a popular topping for iced desserts in the Philippines like maiz con hielo and halo-halo.

Leche Flan is one of the most favored of recent trending foods in the world. It is simple, it is fast, it tastes yummy. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. Leche Flan is something that I have loved my whole life. They’re nice and they look wonderful.

To begin with this recipe, we must first prepare a few ingredients. You can have leche flan using 5 ingredients and 7 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Leche Flan:
  1. Take 10 egg yolks
  2. Take 380 g condensed milk
  3. Take 390 g evaporated milk
  4. Prepare 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
  5. Make ready 1/4 C sugar

It has been a regular item in the menu of most restaurants because of its taste, ease in preparation and long shelf life. It can also be added as a component to build other great tasting dessert creations. Combine sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat. Spread caramel evenly over the inside of a flan mold, tilting the mold to make sure the whole surface is covered.

Instructions to make Leche Flan:
  1. Separate the egg yolk
  2. Add the 380g condensed milk and 390g evaporated milk. Mix well.
  3. Use the strainer to remove the solid ingredients.
  4. Caramelize the sugar and put it into a container/llanera.
  5. Add the mixed egg and milks.
  6. Steam for about 30-35 minutes.
  7. Let it cool. And ready to serve.

Combine sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat. Spread caramel evenly over the inside of a flan mold, tilting the mold to make sure the whole surface is covered. Combine evaporated milk, condensed milk, egg yolks, and vanilla extract in a large bowl. Leche flan is traditionally steamed in the Philippines (where ovens were uncommon for many years), but baking it in a water bath is a great alternative if you don't have a steamer.
