The ingredients needed to make Sushi Balls:
  1. Prepare 1 serving Plain cooked rice
  2. Make ready 3 tbsp Rice vinegar (or vinegar for sushi)
  3. Make ready 1 Shrimp
  4. Prepare 1 Black olives
  5. Get 1 slice Salmon (for sashimi)
  6. Take 1 dash Green onion (finely chopped)
  7. Prepare 1 tbsp Sushi Grade Tuna (for negitoro -minced fatty tuna with green onions-)
  8. Take 1 Wasabi
  9. Get 1 Yuzu pepper paste
  10. Prepare 1 Soy sauce

Put on the lid and bring to the boil. Moisten the rice paper with water then gently pat dry. Mix together the tuna and mayonnaise. Spread out a sheet of cling film, laying the rice paper on top of it, and the lettuce leaf on top of that.

Instructions to make Sushi Balls:
  1. Mix the rice vinegar into the freshly made rice and mix well.

  2. Cut a shiso leaf in half, wrap it around another ball, and top with the tuna (and some chopped green onion).
  3. Top the third ball with the shrimp and olive.
  4. Variations include cured ham + avocado, cucumber + cherry tomato + egg, etc. Eat together with wasabi, yuzu pepper paste, and soy sauce.

Mix together the tuna and mayonnaise. Spread out a sheet of cling film, laying the rice paper on top of it, and the lettuce leaf on top of that. Using sharp scissors, cut shapes from the nori. Serve with sushi seasoning and mayonnaise to dip. TO MAKE SUSHI BALLS: Choose your topping.
