My Favorite Chili

Hey everyone, it’s John, welcome to our recipe page. Today, I will show you a way to prepare a distinctive dish, my favorite chili. It is one of my favorites food recipes. This time, I’m gonna make it a little bit unique. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

My Favorite Chili is one of the most popular of current trending meals on earth. It’s simple, it’s fast, it tastes yummy. It is appreciated by millions daily. They are nice and they look wonderful. My Favorite Chili is something which I have loved my whole life.

Growing up chili was a huge dinnertime staple in our house. I grew up in Ohio so when the weather turned you could bet the large stockpot came out and my mom got down to business.

The ingredients needed to make My Favorite Chili:
  1. Take 1 lb Ground beef or turkey
  2. Make ready 1 lb Ground pork sausage or Italian sausage
  3. Prepare 1 small Onion, diced
  4. Get 2 can Chili beans
  5. Get 1 can Black beans
  6. Take 1 can Large butter beans, drained and rinsed
  7. Prepare 1 can Stewed or diced tomatoes
  8. Make ready 1 can 12 oz. V8 juice
  9. Prepare 1/4 cup Frank's hot sauce
  10. Prepare 1 tbsp Ground cinnamon (yes I know this sounds strange, but it's delicious!) start with less if you're unsure
  11. Make ready 2 tbsp Ground cumin
  12. Take 2 tbsp Ancho chili powder
  13. Make ready 2 tsp Smoked garlic powder

Add the next eight ingredients; bring to a boil. Garnish with cheese and onion if desired. In a large stock pot, brown some ground beef with some minced garlic and largely diced onion pieces. Once browned, drain off as much excess fat you prefer.

Steps to make My Favorite Chili:
  1. Brown meats and onion in a large skillet, drain fat.
  2. Add in all remaining ingredients.
  3. Simmer for 30-60 minutes. Or you may cook all in a crockpot on low for 6-8 hours.

In a large stock pot, brown some ground beef with some minced garlic and largely diced onion pieces. Once browned, drain off as much excess fat you prefer. I like to leave a little for flavor! Add in the variety of beans that have been drained and rinsed. And then a can of chili ready tomatoes, if you can't find them, a regular can of diced tomatoes works too.
