Make a template by tracing fruit from book. Cut with sharp pairing knife on cold cookie dough. Cut out hole with small circle cutter. Place cookies in freezer for one hour to ensure they keep their shape.
Steps to make Caterpillar Cookies:
- Add in the butter and condensed milk into a bowl. Mix until creamy and combined
- Add in the maizena and vanilla abd green food colouring. Combined until it can be shaped.
- Divide them and shape them into balls, about 5 grams each.
- Then shape into a log.
- Roll the log shape batter on the comb so it leaves print.
- Then add on the chocochips as the eyes. Do until the batter is done.
- Bake in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes at 130° c.
- Keep in a a clean container. Good up to a month.
Cut out hole with small circle cutter. Place cookies in freezer for one hour to ensure they keep their shape. Outline cookie in white with stiff royal icing. Fill cookie with thin, white royal icing. Dilute food coloring with a few drops.
