Temaki-zushi is one of the most favored of recent trending meals on earth. It’s appreciated by millions daily. It’s easy, it is fast, it tastes delicious. Temaki-zushi is something which I’ve loved my whole life. They’re fine and they look fantastic.

Your Temaki Zushi is now ready to eat, enjoy. Tips and Information-You can cut the nori into quarters so that you have smaller rolls and can enjoy more varieties of temaki. Temaki Sushi is sometimes called a "hand roll" because it is made of a rolled cone of seaweed, wrapped around rice and fillings. The best part, for me as a cook, is that this is a meal where everyone helps themselves.

The ingredients needed to make Temaki-zushi:
  1. Prepare 3 cups Short Grain Japanese rice *180ml cups
  2. Take 72 ml Rice Vinegar
  3. Take 4 tablespoons Sugar
  4. Prepare Salt 1 teaspoon strong
  5. Take Nori
  6. Take Soy Sauce
  7. Take Wasabi

  12. Prepare Salmon Roe, Teriyaki Chicken, Tonkatsu (pork cutlet), Ham
  13. Get Yakitori & Yakiniku, Omelet
  14. Get Cucumber, Avocado, Radish Sprout, Lettuce, Shiso (perilla)
  15. Take Carrot (*cooked in salted water or sliced into thin strips)
  16. Make ready Japanese Pickles (radish, ginger, cucumber, etc.)
  17. Take Umeboshi, Natto

While Temaki is rare at formal restaurants, it is popular at casual ones and at home, especially for roll your own sushi parties. "Temaki-zushi" is a kind of Sushi where you can choose your favourite fillings and roll the Sushi up yourself. We, Japanese people, also like having a Temaki-zushi party, which is fun for everyone from children to adults. Preparation takes a little time as a host, but once you have all of the ingredients and fillings on the table, you can just sit down to enjoy food and conversation with. Temaki-zushi is as simple to prepare as it is festive to behold.

Steps to make Temaki-zushi:
  1. Cook Sushi Rice. See my 'Sushi Rice' recipe.
  2. Place Nori sheet on a plate, then spread small amount of Sushi Rice thinly, place some fillings on top the rice and roll up by hands and eat. Some people may wish to have some dipping Soy Sauce and Wasabi. Serve with hot Clear Soup (and cold wine!!!)
  3. There is no rule. Be creative and enjoy.

Preparation takes a little time as a host, but once you have all of the ingredients and fillings on the table, you can just sit down to enjoy food and conversation with. Temaki-zushi is as simple to prepare as it is festive to behold. Assembling your own sushi roll adds fun and action to the meal. This is a dish that will equally delight children and adults. Temaki sushi (Temaki-Zushi) is hand rolled sushi, rolled corn-shape of nori (seaweed) wrapped rice and fillings that you like.
