- In a patila,add water 1 inch high water.u need to cover it's mouth (patila)through a cotton material,make it tight by tighing,a thread around it's edges….so that u get cotton based swing/jhula material…make sure the cotton material is short not to catch fire of gas flame…over the cotton material…u need to place the fermented batter…the batter,was soaked 6 hrs n then grinded allowed 8 hrs to b fermented…before you place….mix it thoroughly to get fluffy batter…. - Remember while
- Grinding, should use less water…so that batter should b hung nicely over cotton hung bag.now place a layer of - Stuffing,which is prepared by roasting coconut Jaggery,along with elaichi,ginger,pepper powder.
- Put another layer of batter…now cover the patila by a cover…now steam it on low flame for 15 mins, check with a tooth pick,if inside feels mushy get steamed for another5/8 mins…check water inside if getting low add another 1 cup water.
