- 1 Cup of jaggery to be melted with 1/2 cup of water.Strain the mix. Cook the Jaggery syrup again and add 3/4-1 cup of grated coconut and 2-3 crushed cardamom to the mix.As the grated coconut gets coated,Add the cooked green grams (devoid of water).Give it a good mix. Make round balls( If the batter is sticky and hard to - shape up, refrigerate for 1-2 hours before making, add some atta/ maida to it
- Dip the same in a batter(without any lumps) made of 1 cup Maida,2 tablespoons of Rava with enough water.Fry them in oil.
