Vada pav is one of the most favored of current trending meals in the world. It is enjoyed by millions every day. It is easy, it’s quick, it tastes yummy. Vada pav is something that I’ve loved my entire life. They are nice and they look fantastic.

Vada Pav is the most famous Mumbai roadside snack. The vada is made of a potato filling deep fried in a batter. It is served inside a small "Laddi Pav". Mumbai's very own burger, Mumbai style vada pav.

  16. Get As required Water req to semi flow batter
  17. Take 1/4 tsp coriander powder optional
  18. Prepare For green chutney
  19. Get 1 bowl mint or coriander leaves
  20. Take 5-8 thin green chilli
  21. Get 2 lemon
  22. Prepare 1/2 tsp Dry mango powder
  23. Get as per taste Black and white salt
  24. Prepare 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  25. Prepare Dry garlic powder
  26. Get 1 .small size coconut powder
  27. Get 3-5 tsp Nut cracker powder
  28. Prepare 1/4 tsp Black Salt
  29. Make ready 1/4 tsp Red chilli powder
  30. Prepare 8-12 garlic clove
  31. Get 1/4 tsp Dry mango powder
  32. Get 1/4 tsp Kashmiri red chilli also 3 - 5 curry leaves
  33. Prepare as required Oil for frying
  34. Make ready As needed- Tamarind chutney
  35. Prepare 12 Paav
  36. Make ready 5-8 green chilli
  37. Prepare Red chilli chutney
  38. Prepare 10-12 dry red chilli
  39. Take 8-12 garlic leave
  40. Make ready 1/4 red chilli powder
  41. Take 1/4 kashmiri red chilli and salt
  42. Get 1/4 kashmiri red chilli powder

The batter is made with nutty gram flour (besan) and spices. The filling consist of savory, spiced mashed potatoes. This vegan street food classic from the streets of Mumbai is a carb-lovers dream. Spiced mashed potato is dipped in a batter and deep-fried until crisp, before being placed inside a roll spread with tamarind chutney.

Instructions to make Vada pav:
  1. For batter take besan, add salt, turmeric powder, baking soda, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder. Mix all Ingredients together add required water to form semi flowing powder. Leave it for 10 - 15 min
  2. For vada boiled all the potato peel. And mash them. In a pan take 2 tsp oil add mustard seed, curry leaves and ginger garlic paste fry them till mustard seed begin to crackle. After that add mashed potato, turmeric powder, salt. And mix together till potato gives smooth look. Add lemon juice and again cook for 2-3 min. Off the. Cool down the potatoes and make 12 round balls.
  3. For green chutney in a grinder jar take coriander leaves (mint leaves if possible) add break green chilli, salt red chilli. In a bowl take lemon juice and add dry mango powder and mix them add to the jar. Grind them till get semi liquid paste.
  4. For garlic powder. Take coconut powder and dry roast on low flame till light brown. Remove from the pan. Take garlic cloves and dry roast them add them. To jar also add remaining spice also 3-5 curry leaves. Add nut cracker powder if you have no powder you can add aloo bhujia otw adjust the all spice. Grind them till powder
  5. For tamarind chutney you can check my previous recipe.
  6. Heat the oil in a pan for frying. Take 1 by 1 all balls dip in batter and fry them till golden brown.
  7. For red chilli chutney. Soak the 10 12 red chilli in hot water with garlic cloves for 30 min. Strain the chilli and garlic grind them with red chilli, coriander powder, black salt With less water. In a pan fry this paste till all. Water evaporate
  8. Now Everything is ready. It's time to Assemble them.
  9. Cut the paav in two parts saute them on a tawa till light brown on both sides. Spread green chutney with some chilli sauce and garlic powder put the vada on 1 side cover it with other side of vada serve them with green chutney, tamarind chutney and garlic powder
  10. Fry some slit and complete green chilli and serve them with delicious and spicy vada pav

This vegan street food classic from the streets of Mumbai is a carb-lovers dream. Spiced mashed potato is dipped in a batter and deep-fried until crisp, before being placed inside a roll spread with tamarind chutney. To assemble the vada pav, toast the pav with some butter on a pan. Then slice each pav but not entirely. It should still be attached at one end.
