After i got married at my in laws place, they don't make wheat dosa. Godhuma Dosa Recipe is a nutritious instant dosa made with whole wheat flour, that is very quick to make and healthy to eat.

The ingredients needed to make Godhumai Dosa:
- Take For potato filling
- Prepare 4 boiled potatoes
- Prepare 1 onion
- Take 1 " piece ginger
- Make ready 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- Make ready 2 tb sp peanuts
- Get 1 Green chilli
- Prepare 1 tb sp desiccated coconut powder
- Get 4-6 curry leaves
- Prepare To taste salt
- Prepare 1/2 tsp red chilli
- Make ready 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- Make ready 1 tb sp cooking oil
- Prepare 1/2 tsp coriander seeds powder
- Make ready For dosa batter
- Take 1 bowl wheat flour
- Take 1/2 bowl rice flour
- Prepare 1 tb sp semolina
- Take 1/2 bowl curd
- Make ready 3 bowls water
- Make ready To taste salt
- Take 1 onion
- Make ready 1 Green chilli
- Prepare 8-10 curry leaves
- Get 1 tb sp cooking oil for greasing
Whole Wheat Flour is rich in fibre making this a high fibre dosa recipe. It is popular among the Karnataka cuisine as well and is called as the "Ghodi Dosa". Serve Godumai Dosai with South. Instructions to make Godhumai Dosa:
- Heat oil in a karahi and roast peanuts and remove in a plate. Now put cumin seeds and mustard seeds and when cumin seeds splutter put finely chopped onions and ginger and fry till translucent. Add curry leaves and green chilli. Add peanuts and mashed potatoes and salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and coriander seeds powder and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add dessicated coconut powder and mix well. Switch off the flame.
- Add wheat flour, semolina and rice flour in a mixing bowl and add salt and red chilli powder and curd. Mix well. Now add 1 bowl of water and mix carefully avoiding formation of lumps.
- Now add remaining 2 bowls of water and mix. The batter should be of pouring consistency. Add chopped onion,curry leaves, green chilli and mix.
- Now heat a griddle and brush with a little cooking Oil and pour batter starting from centre to sides in circulation motion. Pour a few drops of cooking Oil around dosa. Cook for 2 minutes. Flip the side and roast from other side also. Likewise make all the dosas.
- Serve hot with potato filling.

Normally for dosa, we need to soak rice, urid dal for many hours and grind it and then ferment it. But Wheat flour dosa is very simple and can be made with ready made flours without much effort.
