The ingredients needed to make Green Salsa:
  1. Take 2 poblano peppers, blackened and skinned
  2. Prepare 4 medium tomatillos, quartered
  3. Prepare 1 onion, chopped
  4. Get 2 garlic cloves
  5. Get 1 tbs olive oil
  6. Prepare 1 cup cilantro
  7. Prepare 1 tbs vegetable oil
  8. Prepare 1/3 cup Knorr's Chicken Flavor Bouillon
  9. Prepare 1 tsp cumin
  10. Take 1 1/2 tsp oregano

Move the tomatoes to a plate. In a food processor, place tomatillos, shallots, garlic, green chile peppers, cilantro, jalapeno pepper and salt. Using the pulse setting, coarsely chop. Cover and chill in the refrigerator until serving.

Steps to make Green Salsa:
  1. Blacken the poblano peppers by either grilling them or directly placing on a gas burner until all sides of the pepper's skin is black. Then place them in a concealed plastic bag to allow the skin to steam off. Set aside.
  2. Saute tomatillos, onion, garlic and olive oil on medium low heat for 30 minutes. The tomatillos will turn to an olive green color. If the vegetables start to stick to the pan add a 1/4 cup of water.
  3. Meanwhile, peel the the skin from the blackened peppers and remove the seeds and stems.
  4. In a blender, puree cilantro, blackened poblano peppers and roasted vegetables with their juices. This will have to happen in shifts. If liquid is needed, add water
  5. Heat up vegestable oil on medium high, add the puree, chicken bouillon, cumin and oregano. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Enjoy!

Using the pulse setting, coarsely chop. Cover and chill in the refrigerator until serving. Peel the garlic and pick the herb leaves, then finely chop on a large board with the capers, gherkins and anchovies. Place in a bowl, add the mustard and vinegar, then slowly stir in the oil until you achieve the right consistency. Balance the flavours with black pepper, a bit of sea salt and maybe a little more vinegar.
