- Add Diced pork belly and stir until partially cooked
- Add Sliced Shitake Mushrooms and stir
- Add Ground Pork and stir
- Add Star Anise and Cinnamon sticks and shallots
- Add Shaoxing Wine, Light Soy Sauce, Dark Sauce, Brown/normal sugar and stir
- Add 400ml water and hard boiled egg
- Cover and braise for 1hr - 1.5hrs. Do check in every 10-15mins to ensure water doesn't dry up. Add if necessary and give it a good mix again.
1. Ready to serve after 1.5hrs. You can leave it longer for better flavour. Serve with rice :)
