  3. Oil your pot/wok
  4. Add Garlic and Ginger until fragrance
  5. Add Diced pork belly and stir until partially cooked
  6. Add Sliced Shitake Mushrooms and stir
  7. Add Ground Pork and stir
  8. Add Star Anise and Cinnamon sticks and shallots
  9. Add Shaoxing Wine, Light Soy Sauce, Dark Sauce, Brown/normal sugar and stir
  10. Add 400ml water and hard boiled egg
  11. Cover and braise for 1hr - 1.5hrs. Do check in every 10-15mins to ensure water doesn't dry up. Add if necessary and give it a good mix again.
