  7. Use approximately ½ cup of sauce mixture per serving. Add sauce mixture, a few pieces of chicken or shrimp and handfuls of parsley and chives to a pan and turn the heat on high
  8. Heat, stirring frequently, until sauce is bubbling in the middle as well as the outsides.
  9. Add an appropriate amount of pasta for the number of servings of sauce and mix well.
  10. Heat until the noodles are well-coated with sauce and serve

Add the pasta + ¼ cup reserved pasta cooking liquid to the saucepan with the butter-cream sauce. Add half of the Parmesan cheese (½ cup) and toss to combine thoroughly - over medium heat. Stir the sauce constantly so that it doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan. When alfredo sauce has achieved desired thickness, reduce heat to medium-low and add romano and parmesan. Stir until cheese is fully melted.
