Chicken fried rice is one of the most popular of current trending foods on earth. It is appreciated by millions daily. It is simple, it’s fast, it tastes delicious. Chicken fried rice is something that I have loved my entire life. They’re nice and they look fantastic.

Add the onion and garlic and stir. In a medium skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Cooking Fried Rice: Cook in a skillet: In a large skillet or wok, add vegetable oil and soy sauce. Add in the chicken and cook until lightly brown and cooked throughout.

The ingredients needed to make Chicken fried rice:
  1. Take 150 g basmati rice
  2. Get 300 ml water (for rice)
  3. Get 280 g diced chicken thigh
  4. Get 80 g sugar snap peas
  5. Take 1 spring onion
  6. Make ready 1 garlic clove
  7. Prepare 1/2 lime
  8. Take 25 g salted peanuts
  9. Get 120 g sliced mushrooms
  10. Get 1 clove garlic
  11. Get 3 tbsp sambal
  12. Get 2 tbsp soy sauce
  13. Prepare 2 tbsp ketjap manis

Remove from skillet and cut into shreds. Heat oil in same skillet; add onion and saute until soft. Then add rice, soy sauce, pepper and chicken. Add another tablespoon of oil in the wok or pan.

Instructions to make Chicken fried rice:
  1. Add rice to a saucepan and add water. Boil for around 12 mins. Generally you add double the amount of water to rice. - (see tip)
  2. Chop the sugar snap peas into pieces and slice the spring onion. Peel and grate the garlic, chop the lime into wedges and roughly chop the salted peanuts
  3. Meanwhile cook the chicken season with salt and pepper and stir until browned (6-7 mins)
  4. When the chicken is browned add the sliced mushrooms and stir until golden brown (3-4 mins)
  5. Add the ginger, sambal, garlic, sugar snap peas and half the spring onion to the pan. Stir for 2 mins
  6. Once everything is cooked stir in the cooked rice and heat until piping hot 1-2 mins
  7. Remove the heat from the pan and stir in the soy sauce, ketjap manis, lime zest and a squeeze of lime juice
  8. Add to bowls then sprinkle peanuts and the remaining spring onion. Serve with a wedge of lime.

Then add rice, soy sauce, pepper and chicken. Add another tablespoon of oil in the wok or pan. Turn off the heat and transfer the cooked chicken to a plate. Stir in chicken, salt and pepper. Add eggs and vegetables; heat through, breaking eggs into small pieces and stirring to combine.
