The ingredients needed to make Mashed Potatoes:
  1. Make ready Starch Potatoes (Yukon gold)

  1. Peel potatoes and place in a cold water
  2. Cut them into small cubes

  8. For extra flavour in a small pot medium-high heat: add 1 cup of heavy cream, 2 sprigs of rosemary, 1 head of garlic. Simmer and boil. Strain in sieve and add the cream into the potatoes.
  9. Serve. Add ground black pepper and chives to top it off. Optional: add more butter

Add a pinch of salt and bring to the boil. Bring a large saucepan of water to the boil. Heat the milk and butter in a small pan, then pour over the potatoes. Remove from the heat, then mash potatoes. You can do loads of tasty things with leftover mash.
