  3. Add about half a tablespoon butter to the wok (without discarding the veggies), add cooked rice and the rest of your green onions. Fry for a minute or so
  4. Turn off heat and add scrambled eggs (residual heat should warm them through) as well as sambal oelek, soy sauce and sesame oil

Then add the shrimp to your rice. Vegetable Fried Rice: Any stir-fry friendly veggies would be great in fried rice! Just sauté at the same time that you cook the onions, carrots, peas and garlic. With a slotted spoon, remove vegetables to a bowl. Drain peas if necessary, and add them to skillet; cook.
